The above statue is situated in the Victoria Memorial (London), placed at the centre of Queen's Gardens in front of Buckingham Palace. This statue symbolises the concept of royal female guard of the queen.
Every statue has its story. Like the following picture is taken in a small Danish city called Helsingør. This city is famous for setting of William Shakespeare's Hamlet ;the story of the Danish Prince "Hamlet",
In Helsingor port(Denmark) is still remembering their brave hero through this magestic sculpture.

Two Excellent shots, especially the composition of the first shot is beautiful and the second is equally nicely shot...Well done!
@Kalyan: Thanks for the comment. I have added your Calcutta blog in my other one
Heyy can I ask why do you play with the pictures ?
If you like so, then just a suggestion.. sometimes you can show both original & after your play with colours... just to give us the two shades of pictures.
One thing more... your profile pic takes hell lot of time to download... Can you pls reduce the pixels ?
@Cuckoo, I have deleted my pic and Greek Island pic from the Profile and side bar. Hope this time it the page will come faster :-)
