International Museum Day

Today, Friday May the 18th, is the International date of Museums. This celebration day is established since 1977 and during this date the museums all over the country have a free entrance!This year, the Greek department of ICOM decided that the honored museum for 2007 will be the National sculpture dept. of the "National Gallery -Alexandrou Soutsou Museum".

Greece, particularly Athens is enriched with some historical musiums, as shown in the following picture.

Wow! I never knew thay had a day for museums as well!!
The second pic is nice. But the first one is difficult to make out due to the second reflection.

@Sigma, Thank You. The first one is composed deliberately in this fashion. If you enlarge the pic, you can see an eye of a boy, 2 pots in the left part. This is something comparable with modern art :-)

@Mridula, Thank You. No I can not speak Greek. I can hardly stay few months in any country and thus difficult for me to learn these European languages. But yes, I can say Good Morning and Good Night in Greek :-)

I liked the first one very much. What a wonderful compositions of reflections. I could see everything in this picture. I guess it is 3 pics in one ? Tell me how many?

The second one I think you have played a little more colours.
